Limitation date for personal injury cases

All personal injury cases are with very few exceptions subject to a three-year limitation date. What that means is that you must bring the case into the Court system within 3 years of the date of your accident, or knowledge of your injury such as the date of diagnosis of asbestos or mesothelioma, and if you do not do so you will lose the chance of bringing the claim. 

For children you can start the case anytime up to the child’s 21^st birthday.

Our most successful personal injury cases are the cases where the client approaches us as soon after the accident or diagnosis as possible, so that we can get to work to obtain the evidence to prove your case. 

It is very much in your interest to bring the claim as soon as you can so that we can find witnesses, photograph the machinery that caused the accident and so that your memory is as good as possible as to exactly what happened.
