On 12 November 2015, we will be taking part in the Sleep Out which is an organised event all over the UK raising money for charities that help homeless people. The challenge is to spend a night sleeping outside with nothing but our clothes, a sleeping bag and some cardboard. The event will run from 7pm to 7am.

The money raised will go towards helping to bring an end to homelessness.

“I remember as a child my grandparents taking me and my sister to give homeless people food after a trip to the beach. This memory has stayed with me as I recall thinking how horrible it must be not to have a home or anyone to help you. Signing up to this event, I can only say, has reinforced this dreadful feeling – just try and imagine, if you can, how hopeless you must feel. The Benjamin Foundation have recently become a partner charity of Centrepoint, one of the Country’s leading charities supporting young people between 16 & 25. Homelessness is one of the key areas of their work and at any one time they are providing a home and support to over 100 young people in Norfolk. I’m doing this event to help them” - Dani
